The Ralfe - (RAdius Leg, Faceted Edge) bench in English ash. The version here, in graded warm colours, hopefully shows the possibilities for multiple colour variations. The design of the bench lends itself to allowing for choice in colour options.

The bent legs are made from laminated strips of ash which sit in the same position to one another as they did in the plank prior to being sawn. Extremely close inspection is necessary to see that each leg was ever more than a single piece of timber.

The seat is solid and wherever possible, it's cut from the same or a cosecutive board as the edges and legs to maintain consistancy of the wood figure across the whole piece.
